Here's a little update on the art journal progress. Happy fourth my friends! PS how awkward is it to have a holiday on a Wednesday? I mean. Totally throwin' off my 8-5. Whatever. Can't complain about paid time off, right? HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY CELEBRATING AMERICA! Hopefully the weather holds up. It's been pretty gross around here lately.

HOKAYYYY now that I've bombarded you with photos, let me just say that I have no idea why or how there is so much orange and yellow in this thing. Orange is my absolute least favorite color, ever. Here and there, as a babytinyaccent maybe, but like...this recurring color trend needs to stop, haha. I think the problem started with the paint I used for my summer word. It's a neon salmonish color (which I LOVE, btw) aaaaand then of course I just had to get all fancy and add that fabric...and then continue the theme onto the explanation of the word...and then I just loved the orange page (well, what it said) I found in another book to use for my "who am I" page...eesh. 

Note to self: less orange, more Jessica. 

Regardless, I'm still really lovin the heck outta this process (understatement of my LIFE!) and have soso many more ideas outside of the given prompts. Maybe I'm repeating myself from the last SOL post, but hey. The next few pages I share might not even be class-related. Who knows? It's summer, and summer is for...well, I'll let you fill in the blank (:
