This weekend was a huge breath of fresh air for me. The Boyfriend and I ran around Galveston like tourists, even though we live so close by! It was nice to disconnect from reality with this guy by my side, but it went by so quick. Lame. Definitely felt like I was still shakin that beach sand outta my hair (not really) at work today. Goodbye, minivacation. I loved every second of you. More photos coming soon!

sounds like the sand in your hair was worth it. did your car get stuck in the sand? ours did in corpus christi a few weeks ago. it was no bueno. we did just came back from fort lauderdale, florida. the weather there was lovely. no triple digits in that place. sigh.

DeleteAnd that's terrible about your car in Corpus! Luckily our car was parked at the hotel and the beach was literally across the street so we just walked; so convenient!
