So I mentioned Thursday that I'm taking an online art journaling/night photography class (three days in and I'm in LOVE, btw). I finally decided on the yellow book for this journal, and I'm so happy with it! I'm also lovin' the laid back, goatyourownpace vibe of this class, but of course, every new prompt is turning me more and more into a journaling/photographer hermitlady, haha. OK NOT REALLY. I'm just loving the heck out of the process and can't get enough. Here's what I've done so far.

LOVE this entire post....not gonna lie i'm kinda drooling about your class and your journal... sounds like something i could get lost in:)
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling you would TOTALLY fall in love with this class/art journal process. I would love to see what you come up with! You're so creative and have such a way with words! Dear Ally, artjournalwithme? (:
DeleteAwesome!!! I seriously want to do this. There needs to be more hours in the day! And. Those pictures are beautiful. I cannot wait to see more, I hope you continue to share your progress!
ReplyDeleteThanks lady! And yes...OHMYGOODNESSYESMOREHOURSPLZ...I'm hoping to have a few more journal updates on here pretty soon. Life kind of got in my way this past week, haha.
DeleteOh my, this is lovely. Love the introduction and the front cover - the cute lady knitting is AWESOME! Was it on the actual book cover or did you add it yourself?
ReplyDeleteAwww thank you so much! The knitting lady was actually ON the cover; that was what sealed the deal for me as far as which book to use. She's my favorite. I named her Barbara.
DeleteWOW I'M IN LOOOOOVE. Also, the sunglasses thing, I think I saw that tip on Elsie's blog; probably gonna have to do it SOON. You're so brilliant and creative. xoxo
ReplyDeleteYeah it's on there too! I was really excited to see it as a prompt in this class bc I'd tried it before and had a better handle on it this time I think. PS I can't wait to see your shady pics! xo
DeleteHOW FUN! Seriously, super cute! Love the creativity!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Ariel! You're too sweet.
DeleteGahh I absolutely love this!! How did you get the holes in the book?
ReplyDeleteThanks hun! I kind of eyeballed where the holes should be and then used a drill. I don't remember what size bit I used though. Large enough so the holes were hole-punch sizeish (:
